In a career of just a few short years, it’s clear that Omer Adam has already achieved iconic status in the world of Israeli music.

Omer got his start in 2009, as a not-yet-16-year-old on “Kochav Nolad”, Israel’s answer to “American Idol”. Omer enjoyed success on the reality show, until he was disqualified due to his age. Organizers discovered that he was not yet 16 year old, the minimum age for qualification, when he auditioned.

However, that didn’t stop him from launching a successful music career. Over the past ten years, he skyrocketed in popularity to become one of Israel’s top artists…if not THE most popular Israeli singer of 2019.

Omer’s recent sold-our performance at Park HaYarkon in Tel Aviv only solidified his status. Park HaYarkon is Israel’s biggest stage, typically reserved for the largest international acts visiting Israel. The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, and most recently, Jennifer Lopez, have all performed there, entertaining tens of thousands of Israeli fans willing to pay high prices for tickets.

So when Omer Adam announced a concert at Park HaYarkon, the Israeli music community observed with great interest. After all, it’s not every day that an Israeli artist fills a space as large as this. And Omer delivered, selling all 50,000 tickets in less than 24 hours.

The star-studded concert took place in mid July, in the midst of an intense Israeli summer heatwave.

Kan Gimmel Counts Down Omer Adam’s Top 20

So to celebrate Omer Adam’s spectacular popularity, Kan Gimmel radio asked listeners to vote for their favorite Omer Adam song of all time. Granted, “all-time” is only less than ten years. But with a string of #1 hits under his belt, there was plenty of material to choose from.

After a nationwide online poll, they then counted down the results on-air on August 12, 2019. Here are their top 20 Omer Adam songs, as selected by Kan Gimmel listeners.
