This is MyIsraeliMusic.com, I’m Josh Shron, and here’s your Israeli music news for Wednesday, March 6, 2019.

New Song by Ninet Tayeb and Red Band

Everyone loves new music by Ninet Tayeb, right? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that the very first winner of Kochav Nolad has a brand new song out, a collaboration with Red Band, which is a group of musical puppets. Red and Ninet perform a very cool cover of “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weekend…check it out.

Red Band has performed with everyone who’s everyone in the world of Israeli music. I have no idea why so many well-known Israeli artists decide to sing with puppets, but in this case, Ninet sounds fantastic, and that’s all that matters.

Yonina Makes New Friends in Vienna

Fresh off their North American tour, our favorite husband-and-wife duo Yonina, Yoni and Nina Tokayer, stopped off in Vienna before heading home to Israel. They were there as guest judges for the annual “Jew Factor” – a talent competition among various Jewish youth groups from around the country. Of course, they took the stage and performed a few songs of their own – with a little help from their new friends.

Yonina wrote on Facebook, “The energy there was incredible, and by the end of our show, the stage was packed. Am Israel Chai! What a beautiful group of young, proud Jews.”

Eli Botner & Meshi Kleinstein on Radios 100FM

And finally, one of my favorite songs of the moment is “Autobus Acharon L’Haifa” performed by Eli Botner and Meshi Kleinstein, the daughter of Rita and Rami Kleinstein. The two spent an hour visiting Moshiko Shtern at Radios 100FM today, and of course, sang their new hit song.

But, before heading home, Meshi sang the song EVERYONE’S singing these days, “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born”. I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more of Meshi Kleinstein, the voice of a new generation from this very talented musical family.

That’s your Israeli music news for today! Until next time, I’m Josh Shron, Al Tafsiku Lashir (don’t stop singing).
