Every Israeli Eurovision Entry EVER…in Less Than 4 Minutes

Galit Mor & Artur Katz: Israeli Eurovision Mash-Up

In honor of the Eurovision returning to Israel for the first time in 20 years, Galit Mor and Artur Katz, our favorite Israeli mash-up creators, have hit another home run with their new creation:

A mash-up of every single song Israel has brought to the Eurovision since their first appearance in 1973.

Israel has participated in the contest 41 times, and has, of course, won four times: in 1978 (“A-ba-ni-bi” by Izhar Cohen), 1979 (“Halleluyah” by Chalav U’dvash, 1998 (“Diva” by Dana International), and 2018 (“Toy” by Netta Barzilai).

In just 3.5 minutes, Galit and Artur have included them all. From the greatest hits (“Chai” by Ofra Haza in 1983 and many more) and the slightly obscure (“Ahava Hee Shir L’shnayim” by Ilanit, 1977), to the ones we’ve chosen to forget (most entries from 2011-2017), you’re sure to hear quite a few songs you love. With only a few seconds devoted to each song, however, my only complaint was that I wanted to hear more!

Galit Mor & Artur Katz: Israeli mashups that make me smile Every. Single. Time.

These guys have this down to a science, having released quite a few crowd-pleasing videos over the past few years. Their “Evolution of Israeli Music” is brilliant, and their “Evolution of Israeli Kids’ Music” is sure to make you smile. Why are these guys not household names already? Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
