WATCH: Eden Ben Zaken’s Sweet Love Song To Her New Baby Boy

When Eden Ben Zaken married Shuki Bitton in 2018, her wedding song “Chaim Sheli” became one the hottest Israeli songs of the year.

Now, she’s hoping her newest milestone will bring similar success.

On May 5, 2020, Eden gave birth to her first child, a boy, named Mishel Micha Bitton. On July 8, just about two months later, she released a song about motherhood.

It’s a cover of the classic song by Orna and Moshe Datz, “Ahava Shel Ima”. (Ironically enough, the song is also subtitled “Chaim Sheli”, just like her wedding song.) The song was composed by Moshe Datz back in 2000, and has since been covered by Zehava Ben, among others.

In the video, Eden is seen tending to the needs of her new baby (although the baby shown is much older than two months), while singing of her appreciation for her new role as “Ima”. Any new mother will likely tell you that the sentiment is not quite so clearly defined only two months in, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.

And of course, in today’s commercialized society, the video was brought to you by the folks at Shufersal Baby. Don’t worry, their logo appears prominently at the end.

It was only a week ago that Eden released another new song, an odd collaboration with superstar Omer Adam entitled “Kukuriku.”

Clearly, Eden’s career isn’t skipping a beat since the new baby. We wish her mazal tov on her success – and her new family!
