A roundup of five new Israeli songs released this week.

Some new Israeli songs we think you should know about this weekend. Be sure to listen for more brand new music on this week’s Israel Hour Radio podcast. Shabbat shalom from MyIsraeliMusic.com!

1. Omer Adam – Ya’asu Lanu Kavod

Omer Adam – Ya’asu Lanu Kavod | עומר אדם – יעשו לנו כבוד

The weather is starting to turn a lot warmer in Israel, which means the summer season is just about here. And so, the current king of Israeli pop music returns with a fun hit, in time to have his new song playing throughout the beaches of Israel all summer long.

2. Eyal Golan & Banaia Barabi – MiMah At Mefachedet

Eyal Golan & Banaia Barabi – MiMah At Mefachedet | אייל גולן & בניה ברבי – ממה את מפחדת

Eyal Golan remains one of Israel’s hottest musical celebrities. Banaia Barabi is one of music’s biggest rising stars, and owns this week’s #1 Israeli song on Galgalatz radio. Why wouldn’t these two stars jump at the chance to collaborate? This new ballad is sure to be a hit.

3. Eden Ben Zaken – Chatzi Medina

Eden Ben Zaken – Chatzi Medina | עדן בן זקן – חצי מדינה

About a year ago, Eden made headlines for all the wrong reasons. She had been trying on swimsuits in a store in Tel Aviv, and suddenly discovered that the surveillance video had leaked online. Now, she is opening up about that experience, as well as what it means to be a woman in the music biz. “Half of the country has already seen your rear end, the other half is stuck on your chest…” Watch the video and pay attention to Eden’s lyrics.

4. Tipex – Gazgaz

Tipex – Gazgaz| טיפקס – גזגז

After years of releasing songs as part of music albums, Tipex promises that this new song will stand on its own. They’re adopting the successful model set by Static & Ben-El, among others, to release stand-alone songs. The first, “Gazgaz” is a musical battle between female singer Daniel San Krief and three Israeli characters vying for her attention (all played by Kobi Oz). If you enjoy the Tipex style, you’ll love this song.

5. Shimon Buskila – Kova Im Shafan

Shimon Buskila – Kova Im Shafan | שמעון בוסקילה – כובע עם שפן

This guy continues to produce quality songs that are simply fun to listen to. This time, he’s produced by Stav Beger, writer of Netta Barzilai’s “Toy” and a red-hot producer of Israeli music. Listen, dance, and smile.
