Sing Along With Ivri Lider, Narkis, Ilanit and Friends As They Close Out Yom Ha’atzma’ut 2021

At the end of a moving and inspiring ceremony, it’s nice to go home with some great entertainment. Cue the Israeli singers.

At the end of the April 14 Yom Ha’atzma’ut ceremony on Mt. Herzl,, Ivri Lider, Narkis, Ilanit, and a Druze singer named Gaydaa took the stage to perform a medley of popular Israeli songs.

Ivri Lider began with his hit song “HaMizrach HaTichon” (The Middle East). He was soon joined by Gaydaa, who sang a verse of the song in Arabic.

Narkis was next, singing the Boaz Sharabi classic, “Chofshi U’me’ushar”.Up next? The three singers joined together in a rendition of the Chedva Amrani song, “B’lev Echad”. Moments later, they were joined by Ilanit with more verses of “Chofshi U’me’u’shar”.

Finally, the quartet joined with a flurry of singers and dancers to perform Arik Einstein’s “Eretz Yisrael”. A fitting end to an evening devoted to celebrating Israel!
