Rita and Rami Are Making Beautiful Music Together Again, and We Couldn’t Be Happier

For nearly 20 years, Rita and Rami Kleinstein were the undisputed power couple of Israeli music. Rami wrote songs for Rita…Rita sang backup for Rami. In 2002, they embarked on a joint concert tour with stops throughout Israel and even in the USA. A live concert album followed shortly afterwards.

But in 2007, Israel’s favorite couple decided to call it quits. The couple divorced after 20 years of marriage and the births of two daughters (Rami remarried in 2012). Fans were disappointed to learn that Rami and Rita’s days of collaboration were over.

Until now.

Fast forward to 2020. With great fanfare, the two singers announced that they would reunite on stage for a series of concerts in the summer. But then Coronavirus hit and the world shut down, and plans were scrapped.

With the world opening up once again, Rami and Rita are ready to reunite on stage for the first time in 20 years. They will team up for a series of concerts at Rishon L’tzion’s Live Park in June 2021.

To whet our appetites, they’ve released a joint recording of Rita’s hit “Atuf B’rachamim”.

And we couldn’t be happier.
