Shlomo Artzi celebrates 50 years in Israeli music

Have you ever seen Shlomo Artzi perform live in concert? If so, you know that he is simply electrifying on stage. I’m sure you’d agree that the stage is Shlomo Artzi’s playground, and he is certainly in his element when in front of an audience.

If you’ve never seen Shlomo live, however, you’d just have to take my word for it. Until now.

This week, Shlomo Artzi released a album of THIRTY TWO SONGS, all recorded live in concert throughout Shlomo’s career spanning five decades. The album, Etmol Haya Tov (Yesterday Was Good), was released last week. Click on the badge below to hear the album on Apple Music.

Most of the songs were originally performed at the Caesarea Amphitheater, Shlomo Artzi’s favorite stage. (When Shlomo performed at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in 2017, he said, “Billy Joel said Madison Square Garden is the center of the universe. I say Caesarea is the center of the universe.”)

Shlomo Artzi Celebrates Five Decades

To coincide with the release of the album, and to celebrate Shlomo’s 50 years in Israeli music, Shlomo Artzi will perform two star-studded concerts at Rishon L’tzion’s Live Park this August. All 25,000 tickets sold out quickly, and it’s not hard to figure out why. Check out this lineup!

Thursday, August 15: Shlomo welcomes Shalom Hanoch, Rita, David Broza, Chaim Moshe, and Nathan Goshen.

Saturday, August 17: Joining Shlomo on stage are Amir Dadon, Dikla, Ishay Ribo, Mosh Ben Ari, Nurit Galron, and Shimon Buskila.
