In Israel For Passover 2023? Get Tickets To These 5 Can’t-Miss Concerts

Ishay Ribo
Ishay Ribo will play Mini Israel in Latrun on Monday, April 10

Pesach is a glorious time to be in Israel! The weather is (usually) great. The atmosphere is (usually) positive and upbeat. And the food? Glorious, despite the restrictions of the holiday.

And with most of the country off from work all week, Israel’s musicians take the opportunity to come out and play. From star-studded festivals to musicals for the entire family, there are plenty of opportunities to go out and enjoy some quality entertainment during the holiday.

(Just leave plenty of time to get there. With everyone off from work, the traffic will likely be horrendous.)

So if you’ve made plans to visit Israel for Passover 2023, well, we’re jealous. But we still want to help you make the most of your trip. Here are five Israeli concerts taking place before, during, and after Pesach 2023 that we think you’re going to love.

1. Static in Tel Aviv – Monday, April 3

Static

Static has a lot to prove. Newly “single” in more ways than one (he divorced his wife and his musical partner in the span of just a few months), he wants to prove that he’s just as entertaining on his own as he was teamed up with Ben-El Tavori. Is he? His managers certainly think so, booking him in one of Israel’s largest arenas in his first major solo concert. After you’ve listened to his new solo album, take an evening off of Pesach prep with what’s sure to be a high-energy concert. You can be sure the industry will watch this one closely to see how Static does on his own. Get tickets here.

2. Jane Bordeaux feat. Red Band in Binyamina – Saturday, April 8

Performing under the stars in the famed Shuni Amphitheater in Binyamina, Doron and company will be joined on stage by Red Band, a wacky group of musical puppets. Sounds like an event you must see to believe. Get tickets here.

Ishay Ribo in concert is not just a show, it’s a cultural phenomenon. In today’s deeply divided Israeli society, Ishay’s music appeals to nearly every single citizen in the State of Israel. The sight of Israelis of all walks of life singing Jewish songs together is an experience that will take your breath away. Make your Pesach extra-special by taking part in this amazing concert at Mini-Israel in Latrun. Get tickets here.

Sure, “Fiddler” may be a little less glamourous than the other options on this list, but c’mon…can you think of a better way to celebrate the holiday of freedom than by seeing this show in Israel? With the recent passing of Chaim Topol, there’s been a renewed interest of late in this musical classic. Sure, “Fiddler” may be a little less glamourous than the other options on this list, but c’mon…can you think of a better way to celebrate the holiday of freedom than by seeing this show, in Hebrew, in Israel?
