Happy Tu BiShvat! The annual ‘birthday of the trees’ is the perfect time to reflect on the LAND of Israel. Long before it was cool to be an environmentalist, Israelis were singing about the environment. From the earliest days of the state, agriculture has been an integral part of Israeli society, and there’s no shortage of songs about trees, fruit, agriculture, nature, and our beloved homeland.
