And On The Fourth Day, Omer Adam Said, “Let There Be A New Album”

Sunday, February 14, 2021: Omer Adam releases a new song, “Paskol Chayai” (The Soundtrack of My Life).

Monday, February 15, 2021: Omer Adam surprises with a second new single, “Ma SheNafal MeHaYadayim” (What Fell Out of the Hands).

But wait! There’s more! Tuesday, February 16, 2021: Yup, the hits just keep on coming! Omer Adam’s third single in as many days is unveiled to the world. This one is called “Millionarim” (Millionaires).

Then finally on the fourth day, Wednesday, February 17, the secret is out of the bag. Omer’s new album entitled “The 8” sees the light of day.

Let’s just say it’s been a good week for Omer Adam fans. The reigning king of Israeli music proves that he’s still got in in him with a string of – you guessed it – eight brand new songs.

“The 8” is a collection of love ballads and slightly up-tempo songs, all performed in Omer’s unique style upon which he built his successful career. To his many fans, these new songs are sure to please.

At the same time, however, Omer’s recent string of singles don’t quite seem to catch on like they used to. His last single “Todo Es La Musika” spent exactly one week at #7 on the Israeli Radio Airplay Charts, before disappearing back to obscurity.

(On a personal note, however, we’re sad to say that we like that Spanish song a lot more than any of Omer Adam’s recent Hebrew entries.)

You can listen to “The Eight” on YouTube or via the Spotify playlist below. What do you think of the new album?

In our view, the best new Omer Adam song of late…is sung in Spanish.
