5 Things You Didn’t Know About Shlomo Artzi: The Singer Answers Personal Questions From Fans in New Video

Shlomo Artzi Answers Your Burning Questions

What do you want to know about Shlomo Artzi?

Recently, the beloved Israeli singer asked fans to submit their questions via social media. Yesterday, Shlomo released his first set of answers in a new video posted on YouTube.

Here are 5 things we learned about Shlomo in the video:

  1. Where do you get your inspiration? From everywhere. From his heart, the environment, everywhere.
  2. What do you watch on TV? At the moment, “Ozark” on Netflix.
  3. Looking back, is there a song of yours you’d change? Yes. Shlomo believes “Siesta Mekomit” is too long, and “Lo Ozev Et Ha’ir” was originally supposed to have a different lyric (you’ll have to watch the video to understand).
  4. How do you approach the process when writing a new song? There’s no real way to answer this, Shlomo says. He either takes out a pen and paper and starts, or writes music on the computer, or takes out his iPhone and sings into it. There’s no set “process”.
  5. Why do we love you so much? Shlomo laughs, thinks about it for a while, and says “that’s a wonderful question”. The end.

The video is marked “part one” – so presumably, “part two” is on the way. Stay tuned…
